Photography has been a part of my life since I was a small child. As the daughter of a semi-professional photographer I spent countless hours hanging out with my dad and helping him develop film in the darkroom. While I only shoot digital these days, I have a wide variety of photographic interests and specialize in unique portraiture, landscapes, architectural and travel photography. I am also a member of the Virginia Professional Photographer’s Association.
I once was a professional musician, but I find myself more drawn to photography as an artistic expression the older I get. Capturing our experiences in images is a way to not only preserve the past but solidify memories in our own minds and those of future generations.
When not photographing, I spend most of my time with my husband, Graham, and our two lovely children. Camping and hiking here in the Blue Ridge mountains of the Shenandoah Valley, concert-going and traveling the U.S. and abroad are some of our favorite activities.
